Improper distances, gettin me down...03 April 2004 - 1:04 a.m. Going into the last week of classes... am both happy and sad. Or maybe I just haven't realised the end is so near. Yeah, that's it. Highlights of the week? Monday was a gorgeous spring day, sunny for the most part and fairly warm. Woke up early, showered, got coffee and juice at Diabolos, listened to music, had cereal, sat outside in the quad doing reading for an hour, went to a psych experiment, and went to the res office to complain about the internet not working. And was back for lunch by noon. A bunch of us (Mike, Irfan, Saba, James, Scott, Ashley, Jen, Sophie) sat outside in the quad in the afternoon, Mike played guitar as we enjoyed the fresh air and discussed our fictional house. The rest of the week was uneventful, as far as I remember it. It was awful and drizzly, still is. We ... had our last yoga class (Hmm, strange how I still call Steph and I "we" automatically), tried to write music to our song (we'll get there), watched Bridget Jones (oh, romantic comedy genius) and read our new calendars endlessly. Many beatings with duct-taped weapons, episodes of hurting myself, and Cell Block Tango. Nat's home! After her free day in Amsterdam... I'm trying not to think of what will happen when I go home. The people I'll miss. The concerts I'll miss. :-( Now an ambiguous statement: When you're the the only one left, it's hard to know when to hold back. I'm going to sing loudly to Dashboard and watch the O.C. I haven't done either for a long time. |
