*grumble, grumble*

22 February 2005 - 12:26 a.m.

I was up in the wee hours yesterday, and you should have seen the crazy snowstorm going on. Today it was (too) warm, and at all intersections there was two feet of snow and three feet of puddles. Not fun.

Reading week was lazy and relaxing and entertaining and comfy.

Spent time with the sis, the cats, the fam, the boy.

Ate at many fine restaurants, saw some fine Ottawa sites, bought some fine Bulk Barn candy.

Read Eleanor Rigby (random, but entertaining) and was introduced to Ardal O'Hanlon's book, which will soon come from the TPL. Saw Closer.

(See Mike's lj for a description, I definitely don't have that much energy)

Work will start soon. I should start looking for a job soon.

We have a new family member here at 312 Robert - Muppy, Steph's fluffy white little yappy dog. Almost like a cat in it's size, but she's knocked over the garbage, continuously licks around our kitchen, yaps when food is being consumed. Or when she needs help getting up the stairs. Or down the stairs. Or up on the couch. I will never eat in peace again.

Have given up on listening to Goblet of Fire on the CD player because I kept hitting it on the bus and it's skipped ahead too many chapters. I'll just wait for the movie. Xmas 2005!!
