Standing in my B-Boy Stance...27 August 2004 - 8:58 p.m. Crazy ads... my computer is completely covered in spyware. We run Search and Destroy, and Adaware, and it doesn't help. At least Dell is going to send me a new AC adapter for my laptop, since mine spontaneously stopped working. The help people in India were very helpful :) Ooh... paid tuition, and now am completely broke. An empty bank account is a sad sight. But to cheer myself up, I bought Joyful Rebellion, K-Os' new album, which kicks MAJOR ASS. It's fab. It even has Sam Roberts on it! Canadian music rocks more than any. 4 days left before moving, and three of them include going to work. Blech. I still need to pack, clean out my room, etc etc etc. Plus, I have seven (seven?!) movies from the library to watch. Once my sister finished Richard Simmons' Disco Sweat, we'll be all set. Have bought an Ikea bookshelf, and will order a desk from Sears once I have a phone number in T.O. Will pack and clean and tie up all the loose ends, then I shall leave this household and continue in my adventure that I like to call, "Sophie's Bit of Independence While Still Depending Monetarily on her Parents". And Diaryland isn't so bad, is it? Granted I am enjoying the livejournals, but the dland is so... classic. I may switch someday. I'm really not that interesting, though. |
