California, here we come...

17 March 2005 - 2:13 a.m.

If you were worried 'bout where
I been or who I saw or
What club I went to with my homies
Baby don't worry you know that you got me.

Two essays done, one test tomorrow. Archaeology project Monday, then.. done!

Today, instead of having a lecture in my intro to Women's Studies class, we made zines. It was two hours of talking to my friends in that class, making collages from old magazines. University is awesomely awesome sometimes.

Happy (22nd!) b-day to Nat.

I am attempting to download the first season of the O.C. (only the first half, I don't have 10 gigs free...) so let's hope it doesn't cause my crappy laptop to crash! Just kidding, I like my laptop. Sometimes. I just have too much music and movies on my comp, and no space.

I really wanted to go home for Easter this year. Last year I went to my dad's. But it falls very early this year, and I still have five hours of class on Easter Monday. Since I don't have class on Friday normally, it's not really a day off, and my parents don't want to buy me a bus ticket just to come home for three days.

But I may be invited to Mike's family whatever. Yipes. Either way, I'll have to buy myself (*tear*) Easter chocolate and pretend that the snow has melted.

Had a very strange experience in class when some people were presenting their zines. There was a girl, who looked very much like a boy, who wrote a rant about how people always thought she was a boy. "I'm not a boy, I'm a lesbian, dammit!" It was confusing because, well, she looked like a very cute boy. But she was a girl. She was like a boy, but feminine. If she HAD been a boy, I would have thought she was cute. Nice clothes, too. But, she was a girl... It was very confusing! Damn sexual orientation.
