You Belong in 1971

1971

If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.

1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!

1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

Hey hey. After listening to the Delays non-stop for the past two weeks, I've switched over to Kate Bush because she's awesome. This was inspired by the Futureheads concert, where they played their EXCELLENT cover of Hounds of Love.

Too many concerts coming up, and I am so out of money.. Snow Patrol, The Shins, The Decemberists.. those are the big ones. Then, there are always small Cancon ones. The only one I'm going to fo sho is the Arcade Fire (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Stars/The Organ. Both in April.

What else? Did my presentation, did my women's studies essay. I've got a week off, then after two essays, one project and a test. Grrrrrr.

Went to Future's for cake tonight. Last weekend Mike and I went to the ROM for free, and then I was off to the Joker with Soph, Tia and Jen. Fun times.. sometimes mindless dancing and drinking and 'hangin' with the girls' is a fab time.

Saturday Mike, Soph and I went out with his friends Iulia and Defne, who was celebrating getting out of the house. Went to the James Joyce, the personal favourite (and not just because it's around the corner). More drinking, but too much poutine and nachos made me feel quite ill. Then Sunday was the Futureheads, who were AWESOME. Soph snagged me a setlist, but alas no T-shirts were for sale.

The rest of the week was working on school stuff. Watched more daytime telly than usual. Oh, and it snowed a freakin' TON.. like, three days in a row. It was still warm, though, so it mostly was lots of slush and puddles. Then of course, for my Thursday night trek to St. Mike's the temperature drops. Arrrrgh.

Of course, nothingt could stop me from going to the Career Centre on Tuesday to see my favourite T-dot celebrity, George Stromboulopoulos!!!! He was completely and utterly awesome, adorable and fabulous. AND he gave a huge diatribe about representations of women in media, and how he thinks it's so wrong, etc etc. I swooned and took lots of digipics, which I believe most of you got.

Happy five months to me. And Mike. He had something to do with it. Har har!
