When I was a young girl, I used to drink ale...07 February 2005 - 1:33 a.m. So the Joker wasn't so bad. Danced a bit, got groped a bit, drank a bit. It was all in good fun. Mostly a "sausagefest", as the kids are calling it these days, but they had some comfy couches. (Anyone remember the clock exercise from the Big Comfy Couch? That was awesome.) Saturday was standing in the sweltering Horseshoe watching some boys from Antigonish pretend to be Zeppelin. The beginning of the show (The Trews) was pretty good, full o'energy. I like the guy's voice. But... they, for some reason, had to bring out the cock rock at the end. ("They started masturbating RIGHT THERE ON STAGE".. Har har!) The cover of Whole Lotta Love combined with the EXTENDED guitar solo was a bit much. Boring and laughable. But I liked their stuff. Today I slept for most of the day (insert blushing emoticon). Scott and Steph went down to King St for Indian food for their (year! My God! How time flies!) anniversary, and James and I hit up Swiss Chalet once we realised we were too lazy to cook. Ate an extremely large burger while learning that, for the first two or three weeks of school last year, James found me "annoying" and didn't like me! What the fuck! My ego was crushed. He couldn't say exactly why. It may have been that he liked Steph better. And everyone else better. Either way, he didn't like me. He recanted the "annoying" comment after I looked quite hurt, but still. Come on. I kept asking what it was about me he didn't like, but he said he couldn't remember now. Gaaaah. (His point was that it's funny how people's first impressions aren't always accurate) Still! Damn that boy. I'm procrastinating big time from doing my archaeology essay. God bless Scott's laser printer. And JStor. Oh, and I'm going to set up a website through UofT to upload pics to. Feel free, fellow students, at http://individual.utoronto.ca Quelle belle fin de semaine.
