I need a job. Seriously, folks.

13 September 2004 - 3:36 a.m.

Am ridiculously tired and need to go to bed, but can't make myself do it. What's wrong with me??

Made lemon squares tonight, they didn't turn out flawless. For some reason our oven refuses to cook things. Arrgh. Why should a stupid thing like that upset me? I have no idea. Plus, making them without WTN's great Sunday night line-up just wasn't the same (Sex Tips for Girls, a funny Brit show, and My First Time).

Went to Steph's cousin's apt for some cake, as it was his (20th) birthday. Nice, clean apartment off Bedford. Lululemon shirt. Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Flat screen TV. You get my drift. I was seriously impressed. He was pretty cute, too ;) He offered to cook something for our housewarming party, too! When it happens, that is. Keep your Friday open, for now.

The Canadian Open was heart-breaking. James and I watched for THREE HOURS while eating Reese peanut butter cup ice cream. What else is there to do on a Sunday?

Was unproductive today. Ate nothing but crap (bagel, ice cream, fudge, cake, ice cream, lemon squares) and consequently feel like crap. Also, my newly acquired cold has had me sneezing and blowing my nose all day. Perfect for my first classes tomorrow! I'm so hot right now.

Am slightly worried about the catches with the free haircut (by students at the Vidal Sassoon in Yorkville). Andrea's was nice, and B-Sophie's was swank. But 1) they make you sign a form not to sue them! and 2) Soph was warned that the change would be dramatic. Now I'm usually not one to worry about haircuts, I usually tell them to hack it all off because I'm sick of it and know it will grow back and pony tails will hide anything. But I didn't want anything too dramatic. But then again, it's free...

Had fun at Dominion today. Bought salmon to stir-fry - now what sauce would go with that?

Talked with Tanya. Another Paul to bug you, eh? How surreal. I thought we were back in the O-town.

I hope High Park is lovely in the fall. Someone and I (I can't remember who... Jen maybe?) discussed wanting to stroll. I've never been there. I'm thinking picnic of some kind, if it's not too cold. Who's with me? Come on!

So tomorrow is NEW 271 (Gender, Race and Class [Women's Studies]) and ANT200 (Intro to archaeology). Should be good times. I have books for neither, so far.
