They say it won't last forever.10 March 2005 - 2:36 a.m. The obsession du jour is thefacebook.com. You should all be on it. (MIKE) Being Wednesday night, I should have at least started my many essays and other such work. They are all due next week.. I am slowly screwing myself into the ground. Especially since Friday is jamming time and I wanted to go see Bride and Prejudice with Tan. Damn... I don't know why I set myself up like this. I know it would make my life so much easier to get work done a few days in advance, and I just, physically, mentally, can't. It's just not to be done. "No, I can't breathe, now I can't sleep, I'm barely hanging on." Sad news on the emo front. The Get Up Kids are sadly breaking up.. but their small farewell tour is making a stop here on June 12th. I'm SO there. They were the first "emo" band I liked, way back around Xmas 2001. It's how I discovered what emo was, and how fab it was (HAR HAR). It was then I found my calling (HAR). They also have the distinction of being first band I saw in a club (tiny Babylon) in Ottawa. They were my band that no one else had heard of, and I loved them for that. This is very sad news indeed. I'm surprised James didn't remember about this site. I told him about it last year, haha.. about this time. It did cause some difficulties. But look how things have turned out! Been having some good chats with that one. Boys are confusing. And I hate my computer. It refuses to install windows media player. So I can't watch the new Arcade Fire video, I can't watch Magneta Lane's video. Grrr. In tutorial today we were supposed to bring in images of beauty. (The lecture was about the beauty industry) I brought in Grace Kelly. My sorta-friend Laura brought Judy Garland. My new friend Jenn brought Roman ruins. Others included Marilyn, a cat, a guitar, the Mediterranean sea, Betty Boop, Christina Aguilera, Catherine Zeta Jones, and a kid's school picture.
