I'm not trying to catch your eye...

15 November 2004 - 1:15 a.m.

So I'm sitting here, staring at my laptop, wondering why my muscles are aching. I don't remember doing any physical exercise. Cap was a couple days ago... Maybe from sleeping crooked? Who knows...

I've been incredibly unproductive today and am slighty worried about the work situation. I apologise in advance if I become a hermit.

Am downloading Annie (I hope it's the one from the 80's, and not the new Disney one...), a Who concert (hopefully pre-1975) and Simpsons. And I've also been on a bit of a Kids in the Hall roll, I do miss watching that show. Luckily, the second episode I downloaded was the one I was looking for, with my favourite skit. (It involves Scott and Kevin (in drag) having sex on the dining room table during a dinner party... Scott says the infamous line to Dave, "You're next. I want you in me." Genius.)

Terrier Song is next...

I've also spent the last (too long...) on Yahoo launch, rating bands for my custom radio station and listening to it.

Been listening to the Futureheads, very dancy, and some old-school Metric, v. good. Finally got the rest of The Dears' No Cities Left, which took forever due to Soulseek being annoying.

Edge of Reason was disappointing. Recycled jokes, not much of a story, little resemblance to the awesomeness that was the second book. Which I need to reread. Now.

Saturday was prepared to hear some acoustic Daybreak, and dance to indie rock at Pop Noir night. Turns out the place was a very small bar, not club. And my martini cost 9,75$! Honestly! But was treated to good music care of Mike and James, and some Brit Queer Eye.

Am beginning to miss res, in that there were so many people around all the time. People I used to see on a daily basis I don't even speak to anymore. Ashley's in Egypt, Liam transferred to Mac, Chris has his own house, and we never go to res to visit those who stayed. I don't miss living there with dons watching over us, but I miss the atmosphere. I spend way too many house in this house. I need to get out more.
