"What colour is your hair? You sound like a blonde."13 June 2004 - 6:42 p.m. Baah. Sorry about the delay, but the dland seemed to be having technical difficulties. Like everything else in my life! What's been happening? Hmm.. I go to work, and talk to strangers over the phone, and sit staring at a computer screen, unable to go outside during my break and enjoy fresh air and sunshine due to the fact that I now work evenings and weekends, and therefore an elevator pass is needed to get back up to the 18th floor, of which I don't have, and probably won't be given one before September. But it could be worse. (Chestnut) Tanya has found a house with her Chestnut friends, near Kensington, near Spadina and College. Which is way cool. I'll cook dinner for you, you can bake dinner for me... I have On the Waterfront (Marlon Brando)and It's A Wonderful Life (Jimmy Stewart)from the libarry, as well as Adam's Rib (Kate Hepburn and Spencer Tracy) and An Affair to Remember (Cary Grant). Sweet. Finished Marrying Mozart, a novel about four sisters and, well, Mozart. How I love the historical fiction! Next up is the Passion of Artemisia, the fictionalised bio of the only well-known female Renaissance painter. And I will reread the only HP book not yet reread in the past four (five?) weeks, the Goblet of Fire. Also my personal favourite, if I HAD to choose one. Sunshine came over on Thursday night, and we had a typical visit, which included playing basketball on my driveway, making waffles for breakfast, rolling joints on the kitchen counter and magic brownies. Har har. We do live the life, don't we? (Well, she does, at least) Went over to Tan's on Friday night, and ate cupcakes with teal icing (don't ask) while playing Trivial Pursuit. Oh, yeah. And you kicked my ass, hard core. Will hopefully see Steph tomorrow and Tuesday, though I have yet to think of stuff to do. Will probably go shopping. |
