Look at your watch now...14 January 2005 - 3:49 a.m. I've been ultra social since I last wrote. Wed. Huda and I went to the Razorlight show at Lee's, which was AWESOME. I didn't know one song, and the hour they played before the encore just flew by. Johhny climbed around the bar right beside us, and took off his shirt, and acted generally like a British rock star should. We were right at the front, and I quickly became addicted to the digicam, and took many pictures. Lovely boys. The best part was: Soph was having a smoke outside afterwards, and we look over.. and Johnny's right there! He signed our tickets, and we got a picture with him. Haha.. some girl was trying to pick him up at the same time, very funny. We also stole Brit rock posters on the way home. Me: Snow Patrol. Soph: Keane. Us: Kasabian. Cora's pizza finished off the evening. Today it was strangely warm in the T-dot. Like, 17. Of course the first time I left the house was at 6 pm for my Greek history class, and there was a fucking torrential downpour. Not fun. It was still going at midnight. I was quite soggy. So... tonight we had a plan to go to the Mod Club for their Brit night. A non-skanky club. But, instead, we ended up at Tonic, the skankiest of all clubs. On their university night of all nights! It was Marcelo's b-day, and we saw him, and Alex, Bindu, Mojan, Nidhee, and others from res I hadn't seen in ages. Crazy. I actually had a fab time. We (Tia, Jen, Saba, Soph and I) danced and drank (damn drinks.. the three rum and Coke's and two shots hit me all at once.. I think I'm still drunk.. ) and I got home about 3 am. They played all generic dance music (including some Gwen Stefani and BEP!), which I don't think I've experienced at a club, except for a brief interlude of the Killers and the Violent Femmes. I wasn't dressed for there, I was still wearing my Razorlight shirt I bought yesterday. Guys came up to all of us (Which is saying something because we had both Jen and Saba with us, damn hott friends!).. all harmless, not to worry. I'd definitely go back, not in the next few weeks though. Maybe Mod Club next week? Tomorrow Liam is coming to visit us for the first time since he transferred to Mac. Should be fun times, Chris is dropping by as well and hopefully some others. It's also condo night part deux. Yay for relatives (not mine) going to Mexico. Can't wait. Am I still drunk? Gaah.. I am. I think I am. Alls I know is that it's 4 am and I'm wide awake and I really want a cigarette. Damn drunkenness... this always happens. Myra, Sun, Tia, Jen and Huda (as well as most Glebites I don't keep in touch with) should definitely know of this phenomenon.. Okay, sorry, rambling. |
