A Day in the Life01 February 2004 - 3:41 p.m. Oh, my. Went on a used CD shopping binge yesterday and spent a ton of money. (Shit). Purchased: Road Rage (Great Big Sea) (live) Rock Spectacle (BNL) (live) 4 Nights at the Palais Royale (Sloan) (live) Maxinquaye - Tricky ? - Kenna And Cabaret on DVD! Here was a completely typical Saturday for you, so you can see how I live my rock'n'roll lifestyle. First, got up at 11 am thanks to Steph poking me with the hockey stick, Scott threatening to flip the mattress, and ultimately Chris spraying me with his shaving cream. (Which smelled nice, but was all over the place...) Had a shower. Had broccoli and cheese soup at Hart House with a bunch of people. went to CD Replay with Chris and Steph. Went to the St. Mike's library, went to Robarts library (well, that's not typical...). Went to Sonic Boom with Steph on Bloor W and used CD shopped more. Walked to Mr. Sub with Chris to get food. Watched hockey game with Steph, James, Chris, Scott and Shawn and Mike. Went upstairs to our room, took an hour to decide what movie to watch, watched Best in Show. Hung around our room, chatting with James and Scott, making Scott and Bindu eat the nasty Harry Potter jellybeans(the vomit was gross). After Scott went to bed at 5 am, Steph quicky followed him up and as far as I know, hasn't come back down (it's 3:50 pm). More on this later. Watched a few episodes of Friends on the computer, (newest season - got them on DC++), downloaded season 1 and 2 of Scrubs, and finally went to bed. Woke up at 3 pm, today, and most everyone's gone either home, or to all-day things, except Scott and Steph, who have disappeared. More on this later! Now I must fill in Dave on the gossip. Excuse me. Oh, and the Sens/Leafs game? Worst game ever.. wasn't even real hockey. Highlight: Chara throwing McCabe around! He's such a goon. Also, we're all really into the Beatles now.. sweet! |
