Old World Underground...10 December 2004 - 12:05 a.m. **1:54am: Michel Gondry directed Kylie Minogue's "Come into my World"? That's an awesome video! I believe I shall download his DVD from suprnova. Let's just say there was little socialising, little sleep and little showering. Aah... But since Tuesday night I have vowed to relax, and do fun things until I have to study again. I finally watched Office Space (enjoyable). I downloaded Garden State and watched that again (very good... better the second time). I finally watched the Royal Tenenbaums (very good!). And, due to much discussion, I downloaded the (American) Ali G show and managed to watch the first episode last night (frickin hilarious!). I also got Secretary for tonight. I have been quite the vampire recently - common bedtime about 6 am and starting the day at 2 pm. Which basically means lots of time in my room. Watching downloaded things, as stated, listening to music, reading, and smoking herbal cigarettes out my window. Uh... yeah. But I have been sort of social. Steph and I went Xmas shopping today (quite successful!) and made some fun Xmas cards on Tuesday night. Steph bought some rabbit ears for the TV and now our few free channels are clearer. Sweet. We watched Rudolph tonight. Future plans: Friday we're having our "getting shit-faced" shindig, and Eternal Sunshine is free at Innis Hall. Sometime on the weekend Soph and I will go underwear shopping (We better!!) and Steph's dad is in town for dinner. Must go to the Annex Craft Fair and pick up more presents. Studying. Tuesday I'm taking Tanya out for her birthday, and most likely going out with the girls (uh.. and Mike) to get more shit-faced. Then Wednesday is home! Good concerts coming up. Metric Jan 21st at the Mod Club. Razorlight in Jan. The Futureheads (!) in February at Lee's. Now we just need to figure out what to do for New Years, as all good concerts are too expensive. I need to make yam chips. |
